I have already completed a training course that is to be recognised for recertification. What is the next step?
Please contact the TÜV recertification body for your certificate renewal by email at personenzertifizierung-akademie@tuv.at.
Please have the following documents ready:
- Proof of subject-specific further training totalling 8 teaching units (formal confirmation of participation or certificate from an educational institute). Please note! If you have attended the specialised training course at the TÜV AUSTRIA Academy, you do not need to provide proof.
- Proof of regular work experience in the specialised subject area for at least 2 years (in the form of confirmation from the employer or a signed job description…)
- Scan of your certificate (optional)
Is the certificate renewal free of charge?
TÜV Austria Academy charges a fee for certificate renewal, which is to be paid directly to TÜV Austria Academy and can be found on their website.
When can the recertification be submitted?
Applications for recertification can be submitted at the earliest 6 months before expiry of the certificate and at the latest 6 months after expiry of the certificate.
Does this also extend my digital badge?
Yes, as soon as the recertification is completed via the TÜV Austria Academy, your digital badge will also be renewed.
