Prof. Thomas Brandstetter, managing director of Limes Security, was recently appointed to the Black Hat review board. Black Hat is the internationally best-known and most-reputable conference on cyber security. Brandstetter’s responsibilities on the board focus on the security of industrial and cyber-physical systems, which is matching with Limes Security’s core area of expertise.
“To be chosen for a presentation at Black Hat is already something special in the security industry. But being on the Black Hat review board is like a security accolade, since only the most renowned experts are appointed. I am looking forward to not only expanding my personal network of security experts there, but also to seeing in submissions which future security directions are being researched and which attacks companies may face in the medium term. Our customers certainly may benefit from this knowledge,” says Brandstetter.
Other Black Hat Board members come from Microsoft, the European Space Agency, Facebook and Tesla.
